VTOY Nomination Awards - Free Individual Membership

There are vet techs that were nominated for Vet Tech of the Year. We are offering all nominees a free year and a half of free individual membership.

Here is a link to the spreadsheet we will be working from:

Using the worksheet, determine if the vet tech is from an accredited hospital. If they are, there is no need to give them a free membership as they already have benefits through affiliation. Put an X in the column showing they have existing benefits and go to the next person on the list.

For those who don't have an affiliated practice or a NetForum account, please follow the below steps:

1. Create a HubSpot ticket for each recipient

2. Email the recipient using the following template "VTOY Nomination Award".

This email will direct them to create an account in NetForum so that we can go in and update their membership once they email us back saying this step is completed.

2. Pend the ticket for the recipient response

3. Check ticket every few days to see if there is a response

4. Once account is created in NetForum complete the individual membership gift

a. Go to the membership tab and click on ADD and add Membership

 

Choose the following:

  • Association: AAHA
  • Member Type: Individual
  • Member Package: Technician Dues
  • Click Review/Edit at bottom of screen

 

In the Review/Edit tab:

  • Click on the Pencil to Edit the Technician Dues

  • Edit the Line Items as Follows:
  • Sale Price: 0.00
  • Override Reason: Special Offer
  • Override Notes: VTOY 24

  • Push OK
  • Click Payment Info
  • Uncheck Send by Email
  • Batch: Daily Work
  • Type: Prepaid
  • Click Finish

Make sure the Individual Membership is from 1/1/25 to 6/30/25

 

NEXT STEP

Now we will add another year from 7/1/25 to 6/30/26

  • Click on the Membership Tab and the green Arrow for the active membership

 

  • Choose Add - Renew

  • Click Review Edit

  • Edit the Technician Dues

 

  • Change the Sale Price to 0.00
  • Override Reason: Special Offer
  • Override Note: VTOY 24
  • Click OK

 

  • Click Payment Info
  • Uncheck Send by Email
  • Batch: Daily Work
  • Type: Prepaid
  • Click Finish

 

Click back to the Membership tab and confirm that the membership end date is 6/30/26

 

Mark the spreadsheet that you have completed this membership for the appropriate recipient
