Sales - How to build a quote in Hubspot

This process will show how to navigate through HubSpot and how to create a Quote.

1. Navigate to the Deal Record

  • Go to your Deals dashboard in HubSpot.

  • Click into the specific deal you'd like to create a quote for.

2. Create the Quote

  • In the deal, click the "Create Quote" button (navigate to the left side of the deal and search for Quotes

  • Click Add
  • Select Begin the Quote

3. Enter Quote Details

  • Fill out all key fields:

    • Quote name

    • Expiration date

    • Associated contact & company

    • Line items

    • Optional: Add discounts, tax, or fees.

4. Customize Branding & Notes

  • Add optional comments, purchase terms, or internal notes.

5. Add Signature Options

  • Enable e-signature (if you use HubSpot’s signature tool).

  • Choose who needs to sign (customer, internal team, etc.).

6. Review & Publish

  • Review all details for accuracy.

  • Click NextPreviewCreate Quote.

7. Share the Quote

  • After it’s published, you’ll get a shareable link.

  • You can send it via email directly from HubSpot or copy the link to send manually.
