This Process explains how to build a Deal in the Sales Pipeline and the different sections of a Deal for reference.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Workspaces > Sales and Click the Deals tab.
Step 1: Create a HubSpot Deal Utilizing your Lead/Prospect/Contact Information

- Enter the Deal information

- Deal Name: Vendor Name - Type of Deal
- Pipeline: Sales Team
- Deal Stage: Prospect Sent Proposal
- Amount: $50,000

- Enter the Deal information

- Deal Type: New Business
- Priority: High
- Contacts: Enter lead's email address, if available
- Companies: Enter companies contact information, if available
- Close Date: Choose date 2 months out
- Deal Owner: Sales Manager Name

- Click Create

Deal will now show up in the Sales Team Pipeline
Step 2: Click and Open the Deal to add any Notes, Emails or information pertaining to the deal
Step 3: Review Overview Tab
The Overview Section has the following information:
Data Highlights - Create Date, Current Deal Stage and last Activity Date. This can be customized to include additional properties that you would want to see at a glance.
Recent Activities - a summary of meetings, calls, emails, and notes associated with the deal. This includes the five most recent activities. Click the activity name to view the activity.
Contacts - Ability to add or delete contact information, sort the contact information or customize this area. This also has contact information such as email and phone#.
Companies - Ability to add or delete company information, sort the company information or customize this area. This also has contact information such as email and phone#.
Deals - View any associated Deals currently connected to this specific deal, contact or company.
Tickets - View any associated Ticket currently connected to this specific deal, contact or company.
Subscriptions - View any associated list or subscription that this contact or company is connected to.
Payments - AAAH is currently not using this HubSpot option
Appointments - Any upcoming appointment associated with this deal.
Upcoming Activities - This could be a meeting, any automation associated with the deal, Calls, etc.
Deal Score - More to come on this as we move into creating more Deals.
Pinned activity - Any documents or specific resources pinned to this current Deal.
Step 4: Review Activities Tab
The Activity Section has the following information:
Activity Tab - This is an accumulation of any and all contact information, notes, emails sent, call information, meeting information and tasks to see in a timeline.
Notes Tab - Add any notes to the deal that are prudent to moving the Deal forward.
Emails Tab - Send or Log emails here for future reference.
Calls Tab - Log of calls made in regard to this Deal. You also have the option to manually log the call here.
Tasks Tab - Lists of Tasks you have created to remind you of an upcoming step or communication that needs to be initiated.

Meetings Tab - Meetings that are set up through your HubSpot calendar will populate here and you can add meeting times and dates manually.
Step 5: Review the Deal Description Section
In this section you can do a quick review of the Deal title, the Deal value amount, Pipeline Stage, Deal Type and Owner. This section can be customized.
To copy the full deal insights, click Show more, then click Copy in the bottom right.
